Life Enriching Gardens

The Life Enriching Gardens at Maple Knoll Village encourage residents to interact with the beautiful nature around them and improve their quality of life. The Garden consists of a secure Memory Garden that allows nursing residents with dementia to still experience nature but in a safe setting. The Enabling Garden consists of higher planters which allow residents who depend on a wheelchair or walker to still garden. Lastly, the Children’s Garden is used as a play area for the Maple Knoll Child Center which encourages intergenerational activities among residents and students.
