The Wellness Center provides a mixture of traditional and alternative
programs to creatively encourage the progress of each person. Different
classes and speakers are offered throughout the year to ensure a blend
of approaches that everyone can appreciate. The mixture between land
and water classes allows for a personal wellness that is hard to find
elsewhere. The following are just a few of the services and programs

The onsite Assembly Room is the location for a range of wellness programs,
including self-help programs, alternative health and wellness approaches,
special presentations, and a variety of other innovative ways to help
you be as healthy as you can be.
Massage Therapy
The Wellness Center offers more benefits to staying healthy and having
fun by having an on-site staff of massages therapists to help you relax
those muscles, calm your nervous system, and increase the circulation
throughout your body. Massage Therapists Linda Backus, L.M.T. &
Cathy McEneny, L.M.T. offer a wide variety of techniques to help loosen

SeniorFITness™
SeniorFITness™, a Specialized Wellness Program of Alliance Rehab,
is designed to improve the quality of life by increasing independence
and the ability to perform daily activities.
Conveniently available to any adult 50 years of age or older it would
be almost senseless not to give it a try. This program is one of the
many that is free to all Maple Knoll Village residents and is available
at no additional charge to community members. SeniorFITness™ is
created for every senior in every setting and it incorporates your own
personal goals and interests. Participants have access to specialized
equipment designed for seniors and have the option to partake in a variety
of innovative rehab and fitness programs. Initial, quarterly, and annual
assessments are used to measure progress.
This program can help improve your muscular strength, endurance, balance,
flexibility, cardiovascular health, and self esteem. All of this can
be accomplished while still having a good time. An Exercise Physiologist
will carefully guide you on your way to good health. Each session is
recorded and a progress report is supplied to each participant so they
are fully aware of their development. Specialty programs to address
aging issues, wellness education programs and balance and fall prevention
classes are available to aid you in your search for a healthy lifestyle.
For the aquatic lovers out there SeniorFITness™ water programs
are also available.
SeniorFITness™ offers morning and afternoon hours of operation
at Maple Knoll Village.
