Annual Fund
As you consider year-end gifts to your
favorite organizations and charities, you will want to take full advantage
of any tax benefits that may be available to you. Making a gift to Maple
Knoll Communities before December 31st will allow you to receive a charitable
tax deduction for 2010. The generosity of our donors is vital as we
continue our efforts to provide a caring and supportive home for older
adults in need. If you decide that Maple Knoll Communities’ charitable
mission fits in with your giving plan this year you may click on “Make
a Donation” to give through our website or contact the Development
Department at (513)782-2462 . Thank you for your past support and friendship.
We wish you and your family the special spirit of the season…peace,
health and happiness throughout the new year.
Making Gifts to Maple Knoll Communities.
The mission of Maple Knoll Communities, Inc. is to be a growing
provider of outstanding facilities and services for the aging within
the TriState area which allows those we serve to thrive in a safe, stimulating,
and dignified environment. This will be accomplished through the practice
of responsible fiscal stewardship.
Maple Knoll Communities takes great care to provide the most complete
array of services and care for older adults across Greater Cincinnati
and beyond. In order to be a responsible fiscal steward, we look to
the example of our founders who worked to attain financial support from
within their own communities. At Maple Knoll Communities our annual
fund is a tradition that has raised millions of dollars over more than
a century and a half to sustain our efforts through direct connections
with neighbors and friends who understand the importance of the mission.
• You can designate your gift to benefit Maple Knoll Village,
The Knolls of Oxford, Sycamore Senior Center, WMKV or Maple Knoll Community
Services.
If you would like to continue this rich tradition, consider a personal
way you can offer support. Your gift will make a real difference in
the lives of those we serve, and it may benefit you by providing a charitable
deduction, tax savings, income for life and the satisfaction of helping
those in need. Three ways in which you can make a difference:
Annual Fund:
Make regular gifts either at the same time each year or on a monthly
basis in smaller amounts to fit your budget. Annual Fund requests are
mailed each year to supporters throughout the TriState. Volunteers help
us follow-up requests with phone calls through our Telethon in May.
Annual Fund donations are recognized at special events and in our Annual
Report donor listing.
Planned Gifts:
Consider donating stock, including us in your trust or estate plan,
naming Maple Knoll Communities as beneficiary of a life insurance policy
or retirement plan, gifting real property or art. Maple Knoll Communities
can assist you in gift planning. Each gift is unique and requires special
attention. We recommend that you contact your planning professional
and then call our office to discuss Planned Gifts. Our staff has more
than 50 years of experience in planning gifts.
• Living Legacy Society Maple Knoll
Communities has a planned giving society recognizing donors who have
included us in their estate plan or who have made cumulative gifts totaling
$50,000 in their lifetime. The recognition displays are a lasting testament
to the importance of ensuring a solid fiscal future for our organization.
Corporate Partnerships: Your company may match your
gift OR become a partner in our mission.
• Matching Gifts Many companies support
Maple Knoll Communities through matching gift programs. Employees submit
simple forms to their Human Resources Department and the corporate gift
is sent directly to maple Knoll Communities.
• Sponsorship Agreements Companies who
enter into Sponsorship Agreements with Maple Knoll Communities realize
benefits ranging from direct acknowledgement, event recognition, publication
recognition and more.
Fiscal Stewardship
Our Annual Report shows progress toward programmatic and physical achievements
that make our Continuing Care Retirement Communities among the best
in the country.
